Our Archaeology Holidays - Experimental Archaeology

Do you want to be part of an exciting project building  a prehistoric-type hut on the banks of the River Vezere?  We will use traditional tools and materials wherever possible as a challenging experimental archaeology project.

It will be used as a centre for experimental archaeology, learning in a practical way about the daily life of long ago - how did they heat water, make bread, clothe themselves, etc etc

• dyeing
• flint knapping
• potting
• fishing
• coracle making
• stone painting
